For years, people have been begging for entertainment, not just music, but entertainment! The CalypsoNuts are here for just that reason. Sponsored by Corona Extra and Kokomo Island Traders, The CalypsoNuts are more than a steel drum act. The "Entertainment Without a Net" approach guarantees that each performance is custom tailored to suit the audience at hand.

From dance music to island ballads and everything in between, the show is filled with the music that perfectly fits the event. Averaging 245 shows per year since 1998, it's no wonder people are calling The CalypsoNuts the busiest act around. You just have to make time to get away to this island... you'll be glad you did!

Tropical Soul performs 150 plus shows per year, and Dennis performs another 40 or 50 as a solo artist. These appearances include openings for national artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Scott Kirby, Peter Mayer, Mac McAnally, Club Trini, and Bill "The Sauce Boss" Wharton, St. Somewhere, and have performed with John Frinzi, Doyle Grisham, James "Sunny Jim" White, Tall Paul and Crawdaddy, the Calypso Nuts and Jimmy and the Parrots, among many other Trop Rock artists. Musical collaborations include R. Scott Bryan, who spent five years with the Sheryl Crow Band and who played percussion and produced the Tropical Soul, No Plans At All and We're All Here CDs, and Tina Gullickson, of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. In addition, both Peter Mayer and Doyle Grisham of the Coral Reefer band played on the No Plans At All CD.

Tall Paul (Paul Bobal) was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, where he played keyboards in "garage bands" from the age of 11. After seeing Doc & Merle Watson perform for freshman orientation at Appalachian State University, he taught himself to play acoustic guitar and started playing the coffeehouse circuit in North Carolina. He then joined Stoney Creek, a band that opened for Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers and Jimmy Buffett, before striking out on his own after graduation. Since his move to Nashville, Paul has played most of the clubs in the state as well as developing a southeastern college circuit where he currently performs to enthusiastic crowds, playing almost 200 dates a year!

Copper Sky continues to perform over 150 live shows a year (in central and eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, California and Key West, Florida) while Heather and Dave are actively working to write the material for an new original CD. Perfection takes time. The duo has also earned an extremely ardent and loyal fan base that travel far and wide to see the band perform. Recently in 2010, when not working on "Copper Sky" shows or projects, Heather and Dave work with fellow musician, Dennis McCaughey, as part of his band "Tropical Soul" . With superb three part harmony and the power of three incredible guitar players, the trio is having a blast and creating some great sounds and memories and is going from local to regional to national in a hurry. Although the love is there to share their talents and time with Dennis, the passion still lays in the future of Copper Sky.
